NRK P1 Sogn og Fjordane

NRK P1 Sogn og Fjordane is the regional edition of NRK P1, the main general-interest radio channel of the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK). It carries the national P1 schedule of music, news, talk, entertainment and current affairs, and switches to local programming for Sogn og Fjordane in western Norway at set times of the day, such as regional news, weather and traffic information.

NRK is Norway's public service broadcaster, owned by the state and financed through the public media funding system rather than advertising. P1 is broadcast in Norwegian and is aimed at a broad adult audience, with a mix of well known pop and easy listening music, talk programmes, documentaries and live event coverage. The regional windows give listeners news and stories close to home.

This stream is the high quality AAC+ live feed of the channel over HTTPS, so you hear the same programming as on FM and DAB in the region. Expect Norwegian-language speech throughout, with a music selection that is mainstream and varied rather than tied to a single genre. Detailed schedules and on-demand programmes are published on radio.nrk.no.
