About Onda Cero

Onda Cero is a Spanish national radio network offering news, current affairs, talk, sport and entertainment programming in Spanish. This stream carries the network's main national output, a mostly spoken-word schedule built around morning, afternoon and evening magazine shows, news bulletins, interviews and sports coverage, with some music between segments.

The station is owned by Atresmedia, the Spanish media group that also runs the Antena 3 and laSexta television channels. Onda Cero began in 1990 as a network created by the ONCE organisation and became part of the Atresmedia group in the 2000s. Its schedule includes well-known programmes such as Más de Uno in the morning and La Brújula in the evening, plus regular sports broadcasts. It is a commercial, advertising-funded broadcaster aimed at a broad adult audience across Spain, and the language is Castilian Spanish.

Listeners can expect a lively, conversational style with debate, opinion and service information alongside headlines. Regional and local opt-outs exist on the FM network, but this online feed follows the national programming. The stream is delivered as HLS with AAC audio at around 128 kbps in stereo.
