radiokite

Radiokite for Android

Every station, one tap from your home screen. It opens like any other app and keeps playing with your screen off.

Download for Android

Version 2.1, 637 KB. Needs Android 8.1 or newer.

The same Radiokite

Your favourites, your own stations and your sign-in are all there. When we improve the site, the app improves with it. There is nothing to update.

Plays in the background

Switch to another app or turn the screen off and the music carries on, with play, pause and skip on your lock screen.

Light on your phone

The app is a small window onto the site, so it takes almost no storage and starts quickly.

Install it

  1. Download the file. Tap the button above on your Android phone.
  2. Open it. If Android asks, allow your browser to install apps from this source. You only do this once.
  3. Tap Install, then open Radiokite from your home screen.

The app isn't in the Play Store yet, which is why Android asks first. It's signed, and it only ever shows radiokite.com. Links to other sites open in your browser.
