RT DE

RT DE, formerly known as RT Deutsch, is the German-language service of RT (formerly Russia Today), an international news broadcaster funded by the Russian state. The channel carries news, commentary and talk programmes in German, and it is listed here with its homepage at de.rt.com.

RT DE launched its German live programme in December 2021. German media regulators later ruled that it was operating without the required broadcast licence, and its distribution in Germany was prohibited. RT has also been subject to European Union sanctions since 2022. Listeners should expect an editorial line that reflects the Russian government's perspective, and the content should be weighed with that ownership in mind.

The listed stream is an HLS playlist (m3u8) that carries video with AAC audio rather than a plain audio feed. At the time of the last check it did not play correctly, and it may be unavailable or blocked in some regions, so playback is not guaranteed.
