rautemusik TechHouse

rautemusik TechHouse is a themed web radio channel playing tech house, a driving blend of house grooves and techno textures, along with related minimal and club-oriented electronic dance music. It is one of the many genre channels run by the German internet radio network rautemusik (rm.fm).

rautemusik was first launched in 2003 and is operated from Germany, with channels dedicated to individual genres such as pop charts, hip hop, dance and electronic music. The TechHouse channel is aimed at listeners who want a continuous stream of electronic club sound without talk-heavy programming. The network and its channel pages are presented in German, so the audience is mainly German-speaking, although the music itself is largely instrumental or English-language.

Expect long, steady sets of four-on-the-floor rhythms, rolling basslines and minimal grooves, suitable for working, training or a night in. The stream is delivered as MP3 at 192 kbps over HTTPS, and the station identifies itself in the stream metadata as Techhouse with the genre Elektronisch. Detailed information about individual presenters or playlists is not published on the channel page.
