Fantasy Italo Dance Radio

Fantasy Italo Dance Radio is a Dutch web radio playing 90s Italo Dance, Italo House and Eurodance, 24/7 and free. The programme concentrates on the bright, melodic sound of the decade, with soaring synthesizer hooks, piano riffs, pumping four-on-the-floor beats and vocals that mix catchy choruses with rap verses. It includes the biggest Italian dance productions of the nineties as well as related Eurobeat and Eurodance hits from across Europe that filled discotheques and radio playlists at the time.

The Netherlands has a deep dance music culture and a loyal following for this particular retro style, and Fantasy Italo Dance Radio is aimed at people who prefer it to the modern festival sound. It is a good soundtrack for parties, exercise, cleaning and nostalgic evenings, and it runs continuously with very little talk. The music is international and mostly in English or Italian, so it can be enjoyed in any country. The stream is delivered as MP3 at 256 kbps, a high bitrate that gives synthesizers, basslines and drums a full and punchy sound, particularly on headphones or a good speaker system. It uses more data than standard streams, so on a metered mobile connection another station may be more practical. It plays in your browser on RadioKite, and you can add it to your favourites.
