Intense Radio

Intense Radio is a Dutch station streaming nonstop house, club classics and underground dance tracks around the clock to listeners worldwide. The programme focuses on deep and melodic house, techno, trance and club-oriented electronic music, with long mixes and a steady groove that favour atmosphere over radio-friendly pop. It is aimed at people who like their dance music a little more serious and immersive, whether they are dancing, working, driving or relaxing with headphones.

The Netherlands has one of the strongest dance music traditions in the world, with major festivals, internationally famous DJs and a dense club scene, so a Dutch web station draws on a deep pool of talent and taste. Intense Radio offers its audience a high-quality listening experience without commercial presenters, and it can be heard from any country. The stream is delivered as MP3 at 256 kbps, a high bitrate that provides a full and detailed sound with strong bass and clear highs, particularly when played on good headphones or a home audio system. It uses more data than standard streams, so on a metered mobile connection you may prefer a lower-bitrate station. It plays in your browser on RadioKite, and you can add it to your favourites.
