Radio X

Radio X is a Slovak student radio station connected to the University of Žilina. According to the university's published statute, Rádio X is an independent information and cultural unit of the university, run as a student organisation, and its activity is aimed mainly at the Veľký Diel dormitories and other university sites when needed.

The station broadcasts in Slovak. Its homepage publishes very little descriptive text, so the exact music policy, schedule and presenters are not documented here, and no genre is claimed beyond its student and campus focus. Listeners should expect programming made by and for the university community.

This entry is the low bandwidth stream of the station, offered as a 64 kbps MP3 over HTTPS, suited to slow mobile connections. At the last check the stream could not be reached because the server's TLS certificate had expired, so playback may fail until the station renews it. A higher bitrate version of the same station is listed separately.
