Slovenský rozhlas, the Slovak Radio, is the public broadcaster of Slovakia and operates a number of channels with different profiles, including Rádio Slovensko, Rádio Litera, Rádio Regina and Rádio FM. Devín takes its name from the castle near Bratislava, a symbol of the nation's history and culture. It is a valuable resource for learners of Slovak, since the language is spoken clearly and with careful diction, and for music lovers who want to follow the Slovak scene. As a public service, it carries limited advertising. The stream is delivered as MP3 at 128 kbps, which provides a clear sound for speech and acoustic music on most devices and keeps data use moderate. It plays in your browser on RadioKite without installation, and you can add it to your favourites.
