Rádio Litera

Rádio Litera is a Slovak public radio station dedicated to literature, radio drama and spoken-word culture. Its programme is built around radio plays, readings of prose and poetry, literary features and cultural conversation rather than a continuous music format.

The station belongs to the Slovak public broadcasting family. It was originally part of Radio and Television of Slovakia (RTVS), which was replaced on 1 July 2024 by Slovak Television and Radio (STVR), and it sits alongside national services such as Rádio Slovensko, Rádio Devín and Rádio Regina. All programming is in Slovak and is aimed at listeners who enjoy storytelling, theatre of the ear and discussion of books and the arts.

Listeners can expect dramatisations, audiobook-style readings and cultural programmes, with a calm and thoughtful tone. The online stream is a 128 kbps MP3 Icecast feed, which has been checked and plays correctly. Detailed programme schedules are published on the station's homepage.
