Rádio Slovensko

Rádio Slovensko is the national general-interest public radio station of Slovakia, broadcasting from Bratislava. It mixes news, information, talk and live programming with a broad selection of popular music, aimed at a wide national audience rather than a single genre niche.

The station is part of the Slovak public broadcasting system. It was run for years by Radio and Television of Slovakia (RTVS), where it was also known as SRo1, and sat alongside sister networks such as Rádio FM, Rádio Regina, Rádio Devín and Rádio Patria. Since July 2024 the public broadcaster has been reorganised as Slovak Television and Radio (STVR). Programming is in Slovak.

Listeners can expect regular news bulletins, current affairs, magazine-style shows and music suited to everyday listening. This stream delivers the live programme as an MP3 feed at 128 kbps, stereo. Detailed schedule information is published by the broadcaster on its own website. Because it is a general public service, the output is not limited to one style, and the stream can be opened from any device that plays MP3 audio over a standard internet connection.
