The presentation is in Slovak, with a warm and local tone.

Slovenský rozhlas, the Slovak Radio, is the public broadcaster of Slovakia and operates a number of channels with different profiles. Regina is its regional network, with separate editions for the east, centre and west of the country, which allows each area to hear its own stories. The central edition is especially valuable for listeners in the mountainous heart of the country, where local information is vital. As a public service, it carries limited advertising. The online stream is useful for people who have moved away from the region and for learners who want to hear regional Slovak. The stream is delivered as MP3 at 128 kbps, which keeps speech clear and uses a moderate amount of data. It plays in your browser on RadioKite without installation, and you can add it to your favourites.
