Cumbias Inmortales Radio

Cumbias Inmortales Radio is an online station from Monterrey, Nuevo León, in Mexico, devoted to classic cumbia. Its programming looks back at the cumbias gruperas, tropicales, norteñas and tejanas that were popular in northern Mexico and south Texas from the 1960s into the early 2000s.

The stream is hosted by Digital Retroland, and the station has the website cumbiasinmortales.com. It broadcasts in Spanish and is aimed at listeners who grew up with grupera music or want to rediscover its classic artists and dance rhythms. Further details about ownership and staff are not published in the sources reviewed.

Expect a steady run of nostalgic cumbia hits with the accordion, keyboard and percussion sound typical of the genre. The stream is delivered as AAC audio at roughly 96 to 100 kbps in stereo, which gives good quality for browsers and mobile players. It is a simple, music-first station for anyone who enjoys Mexican dance music from past decades.
