Oldies Internet Radio

Oldies Internet Radio is a Mexican online station playing oldies from the 70s and 80s, with adult contemporary and adult hits. The playlist focuses on the songs that many adult listeners remember from their youth, including soft rock, pop, disco, ballads and easy-going favourites in English and Spanish, with a warm and relaxed presentation that suits the office, the home and the car. The mood is nostalgic and friendly, with a gentle pace.

The station is operated from Monterrey, Nuevo León, by Grupo Digital Retroland, an online media company that specialises in retro music, and it is available anywhere in the world through the internet. Monterrey is one of Mexico's biggest cities and has a strong tradition of radio, and this web station adds a modern option for those who prefer to hear the classics without the formats and advertising loads of conventional broadcasters. Announcements are in Spanish, and most songs are in English. The stream is delivered as AAC at 128 kbps, a modern codec that provides a clearer and cleaner sound than MP3 at the same bitrate and works in most current browsers and on phones. It plays in your browser on RadioKite without installation, and you can add it to your favourites to go back in time whenever you like.
