La Ke Buena 92.9

La Ke Buena 92.9 is a Mexico City station playing regional Mexican music, including banda, norteño and other popular styles. Its slogan celebrates music from all over Mexico, and the playlist reflects it with brass-driven banda, accordion-led norteño, grupera, corridos and ranchera favourites from both established stars and rising groups. The sound is lively and emotional, with a strong sense of regional pride, and the presenters speak in an informal, friendly manner that has made the station a popular companion in cars, workshops and households.

The station broadcasts on 92.9 FM under the call sign XEQ-FM and belongs to Radiópolis, a major Mexican broadcasting company. The La Ke Buena brand also exists in other cities and in the United States, where regional Mexican music enjoys a very large audience. For listeners outside Mexico, the online stream is a direct connection with the music of the country, and for fans of the genre, it is a convenient way to follow new releases. As a commercial service, it carries advertising and promotions between songs. The stream is delivered as AAC+ at 192 kbps, a high bitrate for this codec that provides clean, detailed sound. It plays in your browser on RadioKite, and you can add it to your favourites.
