The online stream is helpful for Mexicans living abroad and for students of Spanish who want to hear natural speech about real-world topics. As a commercial service, it carries advertising and promotions between programmes. The stream is delivered as MP3 at 128 kbps, which keeps speech clear and uses a moderate amount of data.
