Amor 95.3

Amor 95.3 is a Mexico City station from Grupo ACIR, playing Spanish-language ballads and romantic music. The playlist is built around love songs from several decades, including the classic baladas of the 1970s and 1980s, boleros, pop románticos and more recent romantic hits from Latin America and Spain. The mood is warm and sentimental, with a gentle presentation that suits evenings, dedications and long drives, and the music is chosen to be easy on the ear and emotionally familiar.

The station broadcasts on 95.3 FM in the Mexican capital under the call sign XHSH-FM and is part of the ACIR group, one of the major radio operators in the country. Romantic radio has a special place in Mexican culture, and stations like this one are known for their listener dedications and their devotion to the ballad tradition. The online stream makes it possible for Mexicans abroad to enjoy the sound of home and for Spanish learners to hear clear, melodic vocals. As a commercial service, it carries advertising between songs. The stream is delivered as AAC+ at 48 kbps, a low bitrate that keeps data use small. It plays in your browser on RadioKite, and you can add it to your favourites.
