rautemusik Lounge

The Lounge channel of the German web radio network rautemusik (rm.fm) plays ambient, chillout and smooth lounge music. The selection is gentle and refined, with soft electronic grooves, downtempo beats, mellow vocals and instrumental pieces that create a relaxed, bar-like atmosphere. Tracks are chosen to flow smoothly into one another, giving the channel a calm continuity that suits dinner, reading, work and unwinding at the end of the day.

The rautemusik network is known for the sheer number of channels it offers, with dozens of genre streams that cover pop, rock, hip hop, electronic styles and themed specials, all available without a subscription. This allows listeners to choose exactly the mood they want and to stay with it for hours. Presenter chat is minimal, and station announcements are in German, but the music is international and mostly instrumental or in English. As an internet-only service, it can be heard everywhere. The stream is delivered as MP3 at 192 kbps, which provides a full and clear sound that does justice to the soft textures and warm bass of lounge music, especially on headphones. It plays in your browser on RadioKite without installation, and you can add it to your favourites.
