FLUX FM ChillHop

FLUX FM ChillHop is a web channel of FluxFM, the Berlin-based radio station that broadcasts on 100.6 FM in Berlin and Brandenburg and offers a range of additional online streams. This channel is dedicated to chillhop: relaxed, mellow hip hop beats and lo-fi instrumentals.

FluxFM was renamed from MotorFM in August 2011 and is known for its focus on alternative and independent music. Its web channels let it serve specific moods and genres, and ChillHop is the one for studying, working or unwinding. The station is German, but the music is largely instrumental or in English, so little language knowledge is needed.

Expect a smooth flow of laid-back beats with jazzy and soulful samples, with few interruptions. Track information is not published on the stream itself. The stream is served over HTTPS as a high-quality 320 kbps stereo MP3, which gives clean sound on good speakers and headphones and plays in any common browser or radio app.
