ANTENNE BAYERN Hitmix

ANTENNE BAYERN Hitmix is one of the themed web radio channels offered by the Bavarian broadcaster ANTENNE BAYERN. It plays a continuous selection of pop hits, and the stream metadata identifies it as a pop channel under the name "in the mix".

The channel belongs to the ANTENNE BAYERN family of webradios, which sits alongside the company's main Bavarian programme and offers separate streams for different decades and styles. The presentation and any announcements are in German, while the music is mainstream pop aimed at a broad audience.

The stream is a low-bitrate AAC feed of roughly 57 kbps, which keeps data use small and makes it suitable for mobile connections. Expect a mostly music-driven programme with little talk, useful as easy background listening. Detailed playlists and programme information are not published on the stream itself, so the exact mix of eras may vary over time. The stream reports its genre as pop and is delivered over HTTPS, so it works in browsers and most modern radio apps without extra setup.
