Yle Radio Suomi Oulu

Yle Radio Suomi Oulu is the Oulu regional version of Yle Radio Suomi, the Finnish-language general-interest channel of Finland's public broadcaster Yle. It serves northern Finland, with Oulu as its regional centre, and carries the channel's mix of news, discussion and popular music.

Yle Radio Suomi offers news, current affairs, phone-in programmes, features and a broad selection of popular Finnish and international songs. It is public service radio funded by Yle and carries no commercial advertising. Yle's Oulu unit also hosts Yle Sami Radio, which simulcasts Radio Suomi outside its own Sami-language slots.

Regional programmes may be heard in some time slots, while at other times, such as afternoons, the Oulu feed may carry the national programme produced elsewhere. The stream is delivered over HTTPS as AAC at about 120 kbps in stereo, and the language of broadcast is Finnish. Listeners in Oulu and across northern Finland can use it to follow Finnish news, culture and music in their own language.
