About Deutschlandfunk Nova

Deutschlandfunk Nova is a German public radio station aimed at students and young adults. It is a speech-focused channel that mixes topics such as internet culture, politics, science, film and media with music, and its slogan is "Es ist kompliziert. Dazu guter Pop." Programmes include a weekday morning show, a weekend talk show, a science show and several electronic music programmes.

The station is operated by Deutschlandradio, which also runs Deutschlandfunk, Deutschlandfunk Kultur and Dokumente und Debatten, and its studios are in Cologne. It began on 18 January 2010 as DRadio Wissen and took its current name on 1 May 2017. Unlike its sister stations it is distributed mainly digitally, via DAB+, satellite, cable and online. The language is German.

This stream is the high-quality AAC feed at about 192 kbps, delivered over HTTPS, and it passed the automated stream check. Expect informative spoken content on current affairs, science and culture, blended with pop and electronic music, and no advertising-driven commercial format since it is a public service broadcaster.
