LOS40 León 93.1

LOS40 León 93.1 is the local FM outlet of the LOS40 pop brand in León, Guanajuato, Mexico. It broadcasts on 93.1 MHz under the call sign XHERZ-FM and plays current pop and Top 40 hits, with a mix of international and Latin chart music aimed at a young audience.

The station is operated by Grupo Audiorama Comunicaciones. Its history goes back to XERZ-AM, which received its concession in 1941 and was the first radio station in León, before migrating to FM. It carried the LOS40 format, left it for a period as Playlist 93.1, and returned to LOS40 in May 2018. LOS40 is a Spanish-language pop radio format that originated in Spain, and programming here is in Spanish.

The online stream is an MP3 feed at about 96 kbps, so the broadcast can be heard from anywhere with an internet connection, not only within the reach of the FM signal. Listeners can expect continuous hit music, presenter links, and local and network programming typical of a contemporary hit radio station.
