Mega Hits

Mega Hits is a Portuguese online radio station playing current chart hits and pop music. Its website offers several streams, including the main live channel and variants such as Dance, Hot N' Slow and Fresh. The stream described here is an MP3 feed at 64 kbps.

The station's website carries the logo and links of Grupo Renascença Multimédia, which suggests it belongs to that group, although the site does not state ownership explicitly. The site is in European Portuguese, while the music is mostly international pop, dance and recent hits.

Listeners can expect a contemporary, upbeat playlist aimed at a young adult audience, with the latest popular releases from Portuguese and international artists. It is delivered over the internet through a StreamTheWorld server. The service is free to listen to and needs no registration. Because the bitrate is modest at 64 kbps, it is light on data and suits mobile connections, and the other Mega Hits streams on the website offer different moods for listeners who want something else.
