Exa FM 104.9

Exa FM 104.9 is the flagship station of the Exa FM network in Mexico City, broadcasting on 104.9 MHz FM under the callsign XHEXA-FM. It plays contemporary hit radio: current pop, Top 40 and dance and electronic hits from Mexican, Latin and international artists, aimed mainly at a young urban audience.

According to Wikipedia, the station is owned by MVS Radio and operated by Stereorey México. It has been on the air since 1972 and has used the Exa FM name and Top 40 format since 1 January 2000. The language of the broadcast is Spanish, with many international songs in English.

Listeners can expect a fast-paced mix of the latest chart hits, energetic presenters, music news and entertainment segments, plus the dance-leaning pop that has long been the identity of the brand. The online stream is a 128 kbps stereo MP3 delivered over HTTPS through StreamTheWorld, so it carries the same programme as the FM signal in the capital. The official site is exafm.com, where the network publishes information on its stations in other Mexican cities.
