Exa FM San Juan del Río 99.1

Exa FM San Juan del Río is a contemporary hit radio station broadcasting on 99.1 FM from San Juan del Río, Querétaro, Mexico, under the call sign XHVI-FM. It carries the Exa FM format, which focuses on current pop hits, Spanish-language pop and popular international songs for a young audience.

The frequency began as the AM station XEVI in 1962, the first radio station based in San Juan del Río, and gave up its AM signal in 2017 to operate on FM only. The concession is held by Multimedios en Radiodifusión Morales, a business of the Morales Resendiz family since 2009, and the station is affiliated with MVS Radio, which owns the Exa FM brand. It is a Class B1 station with 25 kW of effective radiated power. Presentation is in Spanish.

Listeners can expect a mix of current chart pop, with announcer chatter, station identifications and promotions typical of a Mexican youth-oriented music station. The online stream is an MP3 feed at 160 kbps, so the same programming is available to listeners outside the San Juan del Río area.
