TV Lux

TV Lux is a Slovak Catholic television channel, and this stream carries its audio feed. The programming is religious and spoken-word: the broadcaster's schedule includes Mass, the Liturgy of the Hours, news from the Church, documentaries, talk shows and children's programmes, so the audio is mostly speech, prayer and liturgy rather than a continuous music format.

The channel is operated by TV LUX s.r.o. in Bratislava. Its website lists the Conference of Bishops of Slovakia among the partners of the television, which gives it an openly Catholic editorial line. Everything is in Slovak, and the audience is primarily Slovak-speaking Catholics and other listeners interested in religious life, church news and faith-based discussion.

Listeners can expect broadcasts of services and prayer at set times of day, alongside informational and discussion programmes. Because the audio is taken from a television programme, some segments that depend on pictures may sound sparse. The stream is delivered as HLS (HTTP Live Streaming) with AAC audio at about 96 kbps, stereo, so it needs a player that supports HLS playlists.
