Radio ZZA

Radio ZZA, short for Zan Zendegi Azadi, is a Persian-language radio station named after the Woman, Life, Freedom slogan that became the motto of the protest movement in Iran that began in 2022. The programme is likely to include news, commentary, interviews and music that support the movement and reflect the views of its organisers, in Persian. The mood is engaged and political.

Persian-language radio has a large audience both inside Iran and in the diaspora, and online streams are an important way of reaching listeners who cannot rely on domestic media or who live abroad. Listeners should be aware that the station is a movement-oriented outlet and that its coverage reflects a specific viewpoint, so it is wise to compare it with other sources. The stream is delivered as MP3 at 128 kbps, a standard quality that sounds clear on most devices and keeps data use moderate. It plays in your browser on RadioKite without installation, and you can add it to your favourites.
