Flamenco Radio

Flamenco Radio is a thematic radio service dedicated to flamenco, the art form of Andalusia in southern Spain. It broadcasts flamenco music around the clock and is a dedicated channel for fans of the genre.

The station belongs to Radio y Televisión de Andalucía (RTVA), the regional public broadcaster that also runs Canal Sur Radio and Canal Sur Televisión. Its web page sits within the Canal Sur radio section, which also carries news and features about the flamenco world such as festivals, awards and recital cycles. The language of presentation is Spanish.

Listeners can expect a steady stream of flamenco recordings and related programming, aimed both at devoted aficionados and at newcomers who want to explore the tradition. The stream is delivered as stereo MP3 at a high bitrate of 320 kbps, which gives unusually good sound quality for an internet radio channel. Detailed schedules are not reproduced here, as they are published on the Canal Sur website.
