Radio Rock Norway

Radio Rock is a Norwegian rock radio station with the slogan "Bare Ekte Rock", which means only real rock. It plays classic and current rock with a strong hard rock and metal side, and it is aimed at Norwegian listeners who want a dedicated rock channel.

The station is owned by Bauer Media AS and is part of the company's Rayo audio service. Bauer moved Radio Rock from FM to DAB+ and the internet in 2016. The presenters speak Norwegian. Alongside the main channel, the Rayo service offers themed rock streams such as 80s, 90s and 2000s rock, a Legends channel, a Norwegian rock channel and a listener-voted Topp 666 list, plus coverage of concerts and festivals such as Tons of Rock.

This stream is the main Radio Rock channel delivered over HTTPS as AAC+ at roughly 64 kbit/s, a low-bandwidth format that suits mobile connections. A paid ad-free Premium tier is available through Rayo, but it is a separate service from this stream.
