CLIAMP NCS Dubstep

CLIAMP NCS Dubstep is a live channel from the CLIAMP internet radio service that plays dubstep from the NCS catalogue. NCS stands for NoCopyrightSounds, the music label known for releasing electronic tracks that creators can use in videos and streams.

CLIAMP is the radio service connected to cliamp, an open source terminal music player, and its channels are served from radio.cliamp.stream. This channel identifies itself in the stream as NCS Dubstep. The listing places the service in Norway. Vocals, where present, are usually in English, and many tracks are instrumental. The page does not state how the NCS programming is licensed or curated, so this is described only from the stream metadata.

Expect wobbling basslines, heavy drops and sparse, syncopated rhythms, with no talk between tracks. The stream is a continuous 128 kbps stereo MP3 over HTTPS, so it plays in any browser or standard audio player. The cliamp project documents the radio as always on and needing no account. The individual operators are not named and no track lists are published.
