Rock FM Heavy

Rock FM Heavy is a Russian rock radio channel for fans of metal and heavy metal. Rock FM presents the legendary hits of rock and roll and hard rock, and this thematic stream goes further into the heavier side, with classic heavy metal, thrash, power metal and related styles from international bands, along with Russian metal acts when they appear. The sound is intense and guitar-driven, aimed at an audience that likes its music loud and fast.

Rock FM is a long-established name in Russian radio, with a large audience among rock lovers, and the online channels allow it to offer separate streams for different tastes, such as heavy, classic and alternative rock. The Heavy channel is useful for listeners who want to follow metal in a Russian-language context, as well as for those who simply enjoy the music, which is mostly in English. Announcements and jingles are in Russian. As a commercial service, it can carry advertising or promotional messages. The stream is delivered as MP3 at 128 kbps, which provides a clear sound on most devices and keeps data use moderate. It plays in your browser on RadioKite without installing anything, and you can add it to your favourites for a regular dose of riffs, drums and screaming guitars.
