NRK P1+

NRK P1+ is a Norwegian public radio channel from the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK), aimed at adult listeners, in particular those aged 55 and over. It plays a relaxed mix of music from the 1950s up to soft modern hits, ranging from jazz and Norwegian folk music to classical pieces and singer-songwriter material, with talk and chat in between.

The channel grew out of NRK P1 and launched in 2013, originally on DAB, and is also available online. Like all NRK channels it is a state-owned public service broadcaster without advertising. Programming is in Norwegian and is presented by experienced radio hosts, with a breakfast show mixing guests and stories, and a calm, nostalgic sound.

This stream is an HTTPS HLS feed in AAC at around 64 kbit/s, suitable for mobile and low bandwidth connections. Listeners can expect familiar melodies, gentle pacing and Norwegian speech. Schedules and on-demand programmes are available on radio.nrk.no.
