CCTV-4中文国际美洲伴音

CCTV-4 is the Chinese International channel of China Central Television (CCTV), the state broadcaster of the People's Republic of China, aimed at Chinese-speaking audiences outside mainland China. This stream carries the audio of its Americas feed (美洲), so it plays the sound of the channel's news, current affairs, culture and general programming as scheduled for viewers in the Americas.

The language is Mandarin Chinese. As the audio track of a television service, it has no separate radio format: news bulletins and spoken programmes dominate, and what you hear depends on the programme on air. As a state broadcaster, its editorial line reflects the Chinese public media system.

The feed is delivered as an HLS (m3u8) stream with AAC audio at roughly 124 kbps, stereo, 48 kHz, from CCTV's content delivery network. It was verified as playing audio at the time of this review. Programme schedules are published on the CCTV website.
