Radio Pakistan Hyderabad 1008 kHz

Radio Pakistan Hyderabad is a medium-wave service of Radio Pakistan, the national public broadcaster, serving the city of Hyderabad in Sindh province. Radio Pakistan's official live-streaming page lists it as Hyderabad MW 1008 KHz, next to the separate FM 101 Hyderabad service.

Radio Pakistan, also called the Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation, began on 14 August 1947 and is owned by the Government of Pakistan through the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Its national broadcasts are mainly in Urdu and English, with regional programming in many local languages. The specific programme schedule and language mix of this Hyderabad service are not published in the stream metadata, which carries no station name, so none is claimed here.

As a state public broadcaster, expect news, current affairs and general public-service programming, reflecting the government's remit. This online relay is delivered as MP3 at 128 kbps in mono, which works in most web players, phones and car systems.
