CGTN Radio

CGTN Radio is the radio service of CGTN, the international broadcasting arm of China Media Group, based in Beijing. This stream carries a news and talk programme aimed at an international audience, with a focus on reports and commentary about China and world affairs.

CGTN, formerly known as CCTV International, is a state-owned broadcaster and part of China Media Group, which also includes China Central Television and China National Radio. Its coverage reflects the editorial line of the Chinese state media system, so listeners should expect official Chinese perspectives alongside international news. Specific programme schedules for this particular stream are not published in the station data held here. Because it is a live international news stream, the content changes through the day and may include bulletins, interviews and features. It suits listeners who want to follow how Chinese state media presents current events.

The stream is delivered over HTTPS as an HLS playlist (m3u8) carrying MPEG transport stream audio, which works in most modern players and browsers. The station's homepage is radio.cgtn.com.
