CRI Chinese Service
About CRI Chinese Service
CRI Chinese Service is a Mandarin-language programme of China Radio International, the international broadcaster of the People's Republic of China, whose Chinese-language website is chinese.cri.cn. The stream combines news, current affairs and music for a global Chinese-speaking audience.
China Radio International is a state-run broadcaster, so its editorial line reflects the Chinese government's perspective on domestic and world events. The service is aimed at Chinese speakers inside and outside mainland China, including overseas communities, and its output is in Mandarin Chinese. Listeners can expect regular news updates, reports on China and world affairs, lifestyle and cultural segments, and music between programmes.
The stream is delivered as HLS, an adaptive HTTP streaming format using MPEG-TS audio segments, over HTTPS. A full schedule and ownership details beyond the CRI affiliation are not published on the stream page, so they are not listed here. It is a useful stream for anyone who wants to follow Chinese-language international broadcasting.
