Radio Plus Legnica

Radio Plus Legnica is a regional radio station based in Legnica, in the Lower Silesia region of south-western Poland. Its website, legnica.fm, presents local news from Legnica and nearby towns such as Lubin, Polkowice and Jawor, along with culture, sport, weather and talk programmes. The stream identifies itself as Radio Plus Legnica and lists its genre simply as various.

A Polish broadcasting regulator document describes Radio Plus Legnica as licensed to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Legnica, with a social-religious profile, and the station carries items on the life of the diocese. The website also links to the diocese and to the city authorities. Programmes in Polish include local interview and magazine formats, for example a series in which listeners can put questions to the city's mayor. The station also appears in directories on the FM band at 92.7 MHz in Legnica. Detailed information about its music policy and ownership structure is not published on the pages we could read.

Listeners can expect a speech-led, community-focused service aimed at residents of the Legnica area and at people with connections to the region. The online stream is delivered as MP3 at 192 kbps in stereo, which gives clear sound for speech and music on most devices. It plays in your browser on RadioKite without installation, and you can add it to your favourites.
