RMF FM

RMF FM is one of the largest commercial radio stations in Poland, with a programme of pop hits, news and entertainment. The schedule is made up of lively morning and afternoon shows, news bulletins with a national reach, traffic and weather updates, competitions and a broad rotation of Polish and international pop songs. The tone is upbeat and mainstream, and the station has been a fixture of Polish daily life since the early 1990s.

Poland has a lively radio market, with national networks, public regional stations and many local and online services, and the internet lets Poles living abroad keep in touch with the music and language of home. For learners of Polish, everyday radio speech is a useful source of listening practice. As a commercial service, it carries advertising and promotional messages between programmes. The stream is delivered as MP3 at 128 kbps, a standard quality that sounds clear on most devices and keeps data use moderate. The classical tag in the directory listing does not reflect the station's actual format. It plays in your browser on RadioKite without installation, and you can add it to your favourites.
