NRK P1 Nordland

NRK P1 Nordland is the regional edition of NRK P1, the flagship channel of the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation, serving listeners in Nordland county in northern Norway. It carries the general P1 mix of news, current affairs, talk, music and service information, with regional programming for Nordland replacing the national output at set times.

NRK is Norway's public service broadcaster, funded by the licence system and operating under a public service remit. P1 is its broadest channel, aimed at a wide adult audience, and the regional editions give local news, weather, traffic and community stories from their areas. The language is Norwegian, and the channel is free of commercial advertising, as is usual for NRK's radio services.

Expect a mix of spoken programmes and popular music, with news bulletins on the hour and local updates from Nordland. It suits anyone with a link to the region, whether living there, visiting or following it from elsewhere. The stream here is an AAC+ feed at roughly 160 kbit/s in stereo, delivered over HTTPS. Detailed schedules are published on radio.nrk.no and nrk.no.
