RRI Pro 2 Tanjungpinang 92.1 FM

RRI Pro 2 Tanjungpinang 92.1 FM is the local Pro 2 channel of Radio Republik Indonesia in Tanjungpinang, the capital of the Riau Islands province. It broadcasts in Indonesian and mixes music with talk programmes, local information and regional news.

Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) is Indonesia's public broadcaster, operated as a public broadcasting institution (LPP). Its regional stations carry several programme channels, and Pro 2 is the one oriented towards contemporary music, entertainment and a younger audience, with each local station adding its own regional material. The station's website, rri.co.id/tanjungpinang, publishes news for the city and the wider Riau Islands.

Listeners can expect Indonesian-language presenters, music, talk shows and short information segments such as local news and weather. Detailed programme schedules are published by RRI and may change, so the website is the best place to check what is on. The online stream is delivered over HTTPS as AAC+ audio at roughly 64 kbps, which keeps it usable on mobile connections.
