La Première Bruxelles

La Première Bruxelles is the Brussels edition of La Première, the general-interest public radio channel of the Belgian French-language broadcaster RTBF. The channel focuses on news, current affairs, debate and culture, with spoken-word programming making up most of its schedule.

La Première began in 1923 as Radio Belgique and has carried several names since, including Radio Une between 1986 and 1994. It is owned by RTBF, the Radio-télévision belge de la Communauté française, which is headquartered in Brussels. The Brussels edition shares the national schedule while offering regional content for the capital region, and it is also available on FM, DAB+ and online. Programming is in French.

Listeners can expect news bulletins, interviews, magazines and debate programmes, such as the weekly regional Débat Première, alongside cultural and society coverage. The stream listed here is an MP3 feed of around 160 kbps in stereo, delivered over HTTPS from the RTBF web player infrastructure.
