8-bit Remix Radio

8-bit Remix Radio is an online station that plays a shuffled, around-the-clock playlist of remixes of 8-bit and chiptune-era game music. According to its own page, the library holds more than 5,000 remixes, drawn from the community archives remix.kwed.org and amigaremix.com, so listeners hear fan and artist reinterpretations of classic computer and console soundtracks rather than the original game recordings.

The station is run by the owner of the terminal-dystopia.com website, a self-hosted personal site. The owner is not named on the page, and further details about the operation are not published. The programme is music only, with no talk segments described, and the page and station information are in English.

Expect a continuous mix of retro game tunes reworked in many styles, from faithful chiptune arrangements to fuller electronic and orchestral takes. The stream is delivered as MP3 at 192 kbps, and it can be played in a browser or in most standard audio players.
