Smooth 95.3

Smooth 95.3 is a Sydney FM radio station on 95.3 MHz that plays an easy listening, soft adult contemporary mix of songs. It is a commercial music station, and in recent ratings surveys it has ranked at or near the top of the Sydney market.

The station is owned by Nova Entertainment, which also operates Nova 96.9 in Sydney. It moved to a music-only format in 2006, dropping the talk content it carried before. Its playlist spans well-known songs from roughly the late 1950s and early 1960s through to the present, with a relaxed, melodic feel suited to the workday and to listeners who prefer a gentler sound than Sydney's top-40 and rock stations.

The broadcast is in English and aimed at adult listeners in Sydney and across Australia online. This stream is a high-bitrate AAC+ feed of about 320 kbps carried through the StreamTheWorld network. Expect smooth vocals, familiar hits and light presenter links, with the regular news and ad breaks typical of commercial radio.
