Radio PARALAX Mobile

Radio PARALAX is a German webradio devoted to video game music, chiptune remixes, demoscene tracks and open music. This is its low-bandwidth mobile stream, which carries the same programme as the main station in AAC+ at about 48 kbps, suited to phones, mobile data plans and slower connections where the full-quality feed would be wasteful.

The station is run independently as a hobby project; the site credits a team around PARALAX, Micha and Barmer01, and the operator details are given in its legal notice rather than on the front page. The website is mainly in German, with some English, and the programme is mostly instrumental music, so language is rarely a barrier. The site is copyrighted from 2018 onward, and the station has appeared at events such as the Gamescom fair in Cologne.

Expect a 24-hour playlist of game soundtrack remixes and chiptune, alongside occasional live shows, a podcast and a video stream with chat. Listeners who want higher quality can choose the separate 192 kbps MP3 stream of the same station, which carries identical music.
