Ericade Radio

Ericade Radio, also written ericade.radio, is a 24/7 internet radio station for demoscene and chiptune music. Its homepage calls it the northern Europe demo scene broadcaster, and the music is tracked tunes composed on Amigas and retro PCs with tools such as ProTracker, FastTracker and Impulse Tracker, together with some modern remixes.

The site is in English and also carries demoscene news and a podcast, covering events such as the Edison demo party in Stockholm, Assembly in Finland and Arok in Hungary. The homepage does not name an owner or a base city; it mentions a host called DJ Daemon for one show. The audience is demoscene fans, retro-computing enthusiasts and anyone who enjoys chiptune and tracker music.

Expect electronic, often 8-bit and 16-bit flavoured music. The RadioKite stream is delivered as MP3 at 192 kbps, a generous bitrate that gives a clear and full sound on most devices. It plays in your browser without installation, and you can add it to your favourites.
