Radio PARALAX

Radio PARALAX is a German webradio devoted to video game music, chiptune remixes, demoscene tracks and open music. This is its high-quality stream, an MP3 feed at 192 kbps intended for desktop computers, home audio and broadband listening, where the fuller sound of the remixes comes across best.

The station is run independently as a hobby project; the site credits a team around PARALAX, Micha and Barmer01, and the operator details are given in its legal notice rather than on the front page. The website is mainly in German, with some English, and the programme is mostly instrumental music, so language is rarely a barrier. The site is copyrighted from 2018 onward, and the station has appeared at events such as the Gamescom fair in Cologne.

Expect a 24-hour playlist of game soundtrack remixes and chiptune, alongside occasional live shows, a podcast and a video stream with chat. A lighter AAC+ mobile stream at roughly 48 kbps of the same station is also available for slower connections, carrying identical music.
