LiSTNR Aussie Hip Hop

LiSTNR Aussie Hip Hop is a music channel from LiSTNR, the digital audio app of Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) in Australia. As its name says, it focuses on hip hop and rap, with a spotlight on Australian artists.

LiSTNR is SCA's streaming platform, which combines SCA's live radio brands with a range of exclusive, genre-based music stations. Aussie Hip Hop is one of those music stations and has its own station page on the LiSTNR website. Detailed information about the programming, such as presenters or playlists, is not published there, so listeners should expect a mostly music-led service rather than talk.

The stream is delivered over HLS in AAC format at a low bitrate of roughly 63 kbps, which makes it suitable for mobile connections. The language of the station is English, and it is aimed at listeners in Australia and fans of local hip hop elsewhere who want a steady flow of homegrown rap alongside the wider genre.
