Tipik

Tipik is the youth-oriented pop and alternative music service of RTBF, the public broadcaster of the French-speaking community of Belgium. It is available on FM, online and on television, and its radio side plays a mix of current pop and alternative music with presenters speaking French.

Tipik was formed from the former Pure FM radio channel, which RTBF launched in 2004 after ending Radio 21, together with the second RTBF television channel La Deux. The station is on air from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. (midnight on weekends), followed by a night radio programme until 6 a.m. Its morning show, Le réveil de Djé, runs from 6 to 9 a.m. and is shown simultaneously on radio, television and online. Listeners can also follow the brand on RTBF Auvio and social networks.

Expect new releases and a mix of mainstream and alternative pop, together with conversation aimed at a young audience. The stream is an MP3 feed at 160 kbps delivered over HTTPS, still reached through the older Pure address. Further details on the playlist and schedule are published on the RTBF website.
