W Radio 1000 Tapachula

W Radio Tapachula is a news and talk station on 1000 AM in Tapachula, Chiapas, Mexico, with the call sign XETAC-AM. It is paired with an FM signal, XHTAC-FM on 91.5, and is also available online as a 128 kbps MP3 stream. The programming follows the W Radio format, built around news, interviews, analysis and sports.

The stations are operated by Radio Cañón, which presents itself as Grupo Radio Cañón. The AM concession dates from 1984 and the FM combination from 1994. The frequencies previously carried other formats, including Exa FM, before joining the W Radio network, whose national brand is operated by Radiópolis. Older records still list a different owner, so some directories are out of date.

The language is Spanish and the audience is listeners in Tapachula and the Soconusco region of southern Chiapas near the Guatemalan border, as well as anyone following the W Radio content online. The stream metadata does not identify the current programme, and the sources consulted do not publish a detailed schedule, so individual shows are not listed here.
